Missing out on your child’s life working at the office? Or are you financially struggling being a stay at home mom?

October 12, 2017

I spent 8 years working in an office away from my babes. I missed a lot. I missed snuggle time, kissing boo-boos, their first words, their first crawl, and their first steps. Every time I missed a life milestone, I felt myself emotionally dying and disconnected from my little ones.

Leaving my baby at 6 weeks old was terrifying. What a tragedy that a baby has to be ripped away from their mother at such a young age.

I know what you’re saying…your kids turned out alright. What’s the big deal? I believe it still damaged them emotionally. The time with your children is precious, and you will NEVER be able to get that time back. They are only that age once, and then it’s gone.

I’ve been working from home since 2014 and even though there have been challenges (especially financially) nothing can replace the bond I’ve been able to build with my kids.

I know I’m creating a pretty picture here, trust me, there are days I want to pull my hair out, hide under the bed, or lock myself in the closet to get away from them. Don’t get me wrong, staying at home isn’t sunshine and rainbows but motherhood is a messy, down and dirty job, but this is what we signed up for as moms.

When I first started working from home it was TOUGH! The kids didn’t know how to react to me working, and they were very distracting. It was beyond frustrating to say the least. As the years went by I developed systems to make life more tolerable working with kids at home. I needed to learn to jump over those hurdles because I know that being at home with my kids is THE BEST THING I CAN DO FOR THEIR LIFE.

Remember when you were young and used to think about what you wanted to be when you grew up? Well, you as mom can do that again! You can start a business and raise your family at the same time. “To hard”, you say?  So is telling your job that your kid has lice and you do too! {watch video to hear my lice story}

Last year, I took some time away from my business to re-evaluate what I wanted to do in life. I honestly didn’t want to work from myself again so I got a 9-5 job and I was let go 2 months later. It was the best thing that could have happened to me. It was tough on the entire family to have me work outside the home.

It made me realize that moms need to be at home with their babies. I’m doing whatever it takes to help make moms dreams come to fruition. Along with The Nikki Jencen Show, I’m helping moms do what they love, and make money at home.

I’m not talking about the “business in a box” MLM stuff either. Of course, that can be a great option if you’re into that but I believe when you birth a business from scratch and watch it grow, there is nothing more satisfying. Well, maybe actually watching your kids grow, but this takes second best!

Don’t know how to start a business? Don’t have time or moolah to go to business school or take courses? That’s perfect. That’s when I step in. Now, I haven’t officially launched The Mama Messenger program yet, (that will probably take about a year to fully develop), but I want to help Mamas NOW! This can’t wait a year, so I’m diving all in! No program (yet) just mono y mono coaching.

Here’s the deal:

I’m stepping into new territory here with teaching Moms how to build a business. So, I want to help you get started for almost free. As Sylvia said in Make Money episode, just start with what you know and start making money. I wish it was that easy! For some, it is, but the majority struggle and find a job, leaving those precious babies with a stranger or at a daycare.

For $20 per month, we will work together to develop a plan that will ignite your passion so you can begin to work from home so you don’t have to miss life with your babies, plus make money doing what you love!
